Blu-ray Work

In 2025, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to edit a video essay for Eureka Entertainment’s 4K UHD release of High Noon (1952). To edit an extra on a blu-ray release had been a bit of a dream job for me, so it was a thrill to be able to do it and since then I’ve continued to work on many Eureka projects, editing video essays, interviews and trailers. Here is a list of everything I’ve worked on, with some information about each piece.

HIGH NOON (1952)
Format: 4K UHD
Label: Eureka Entertainment
Released: July 28th, 2025

Women of the West: A Feminist Approach to High Noon
Written and Narrated by J. E. Smyth
Edited by Luke Ryan
Producer: Craig Ian Mann
Exec. Producers: Kevin Lambert, Jacob Milligan
Runtime: 18 minutes

This piece focuses on the strong female characters in High Noon and the history of women’s roles in American western films up until that point. While I’ve been editing for over 25 years at this point, this being my first on disc extra was still a little nerve wracking at times but I really enjoyed putting it together and learned a lot in the process too. Plus it was a great excuse to finally watch High Noon, what a film!
