Hey, I’m Luke. Thanks for checking out my site, I’m an editor, writer and film obsessive. My first passion was films and since 2011 I’ve ran the YouTube channel RazorwireReviews, centered around my love of them, with a particular slant on physical media and blu-ray collecting too. I originally started Razorwire Reviews as a blog page much like this, in early 2011, focusing on reviewing wrestling. The YouTube page followed soon afterwards but after about six months my love of film was re-engaged and re-energised, so I quickly abandoned that blog site and fully committed to making videos reviewing films and beyond.
I briefly brought back the blog site with the tagline: The Triple Threat of Wrestling, Movies and Life, which incorporated wrestling talk, film discussion, and personal posts, but like most of my pet projects, it didn’t last very long. I’ve always struggled with consistency and maintaining long form projects, but I often have to remind myself that 15 years of running the YouTube channel is pretty good for me! I hope this website will be the companion piece to that channel that I’ve always wanted to have.
I hope to write many reviews here of films that I’ve seen, blu-rays I’ve watched and there is also the daily bulletin with random thoughts movies and physical media, maybe even a little more. I’ve also been working as a video editor for Eureka Entertainment since 2025 and have a page up on the site here that lists all of my work that I’ve done for their blu-ray releases.
I’d like to eventually have some kind of archival pages for my YouTube videos at too, at least some pages for my bigger projects over the years like the 24 Hour Movie Marathons but one step at a time! Mainly I just want to get back to regular writing and posting pieces on here every day. Welcome!
To get to know me and my film tastes just a little bit (though I’m really interested in almost anything and everything cinema), here’s my current top twenty favourite films:
